Facts
Outgassing of fluids such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) can potentially affect pump performance.
Test Conditions
The performance of a Levitronix® BPS-4 pump with outgassing liquid was evaluated. The flow-pressure curve for the pump was generated in water with 30% H2O2 at 35° C under a simulated chemical delivery application.
Results
There was no significant effect on pump output running the pump with 30% H2O2 as compared to water.
